so i haven't put games in my r4 for a while

and when i uploaded games into my r4
and try to play it in my nds

Upgrade your R4 firmware to 1.18 for the R4 original.

No use talking about your problem until you've done/verified that.

You will need to have the WinRAR program to extract the files from the kernel package

    www.winRAR.com

Using WinRAR, extract the 1.18_kernel package to your PC.

Put the microSD card into your PC using the microSD card reader/adapter.

Back up (copy) all of the files on the microSD to a folder on you PC.

    Format the microSD as fat16

Copy the following files/folders from your PC to the ROOT of the microSD card.

    _system_ (folder)
    moonshl (folder)
    _DS_MENU.DAT (file)
    _DS_MSHL.NDS (file)

Insert into the R4, insert to the NDSL, and you should get Moonshell to boot.

Your Kernel/moonshell have now been updated. You can eject and put the microSD card back into the R4 to test it now or copy the games from the backup folder back onto the microSD.
