I guess I would classify this question as trivial. Ok, so i replaced my CDR with a new Toshiba SD-R5372 and am using Nero 5.5.10.7. Here's the problem, Nero doesn't seem to recognize the Toshiba when I try to burn. When clicking on choose recorder, all it shows is Image Recorder, and when I try to burn anything it just burns a .NRG file to the hard disk. I'm assuming that since I am using 5.5, that's the culprit, since it was developed way before my DVDR. Any suggestions on how to get Nero to burn to my drive WITHOUT upgrading to Nero 6 (just can't justify spending another $50). I know once I start burning Dual layer DVD's, I'll have to upgrade, but until the price comes down on blanks, that will wait. DVD Decryptor has not problems. But burning audio CD's won't work with Nero. Any suggestions?
