Hi all! I'm fairly new to all this stuff but was told that this would be the place to get all of my questions answered. I have an issue with a movie file and I need some help. I have a windows movie file on my hard drive that I am trying to put on a dvd so I can watch it on my dvd player. The file is about 1 gig or 1,058,769 kb in length. I am using Nero 7 to try and get the job done. My question is how do I do it? What's the best way to succesfully get this movie on to a dvd that is playable on a dvd player? I seem to have tried everything that Nero 7 has to offer but still no success. Any takers? Maybe there is another program that I should be using? Like I said, I am new to all of this and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!
Hi bby625704 Welcome to aD. To convert those .wmv (thinking that's the format they are in) use Vision to make a DVD compliant video. Here's a guide for .avi files but it will work for the different file types too - shows how to use Vision: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/272946
