My comp stopped playing any videoformat.Sound is still there but no picture.It doesnt matter which player I use (mpalyer,real,powerdvd), i´v tried them all.OS is XP pro and I installed SB audigy player few days ago.I think problems started then.I´v tried to reinstall Audigy player and all codecs in Nimopack.Can anyone give any good advise before I have to format my harddrive.

I suggest un-installing your players and using last two above As to reformatting, it happens and I wind up doing it every three to six months....But quit doing it the hard way....Partition the HD, into a OS section and a Data storage section.....Now make drive image copies (at various stages of built-up) as you build-up your OS......The drive images are stored in a folder in the Data section (or later on CDs).....Then when having problems like yours, just recall the proper drive image.....twenty minutes later you are up and running again
