I recently downloaded a movie that was in 98 rar files which were parts of an iso. rar file 63 is giving me a CRC failed error message. I have attempted to "repair" the file with winRAR to no avail. Are there any suggestions out there as to a way of "filling in" the missing data so that I can go ahead an burn the disc? I don't care if there are a few bad moments in the movie... I just want to burn it... Any ideas???? thanks in advance! ps - I cannot re-download the file or ask for a repost.
you cant repair it all I can suggest is if it was a torent download and your client gives you the option download 63 only I use bitlord it will allow you to download a partial file I assume others do also
so there is no way to "skip" the offending file and just be "missing" thet information? like I said, I don't really care if there are a few seconds or minutes missing from the DVD.
Well, you cannot skip the problem file, as winRAR doesn't have the ability to compile a data stream that occurrs after the error. Although, if you don't mind watching the video of it up until that error takes place...just tick the box that says 'keep broken files', and winRAR will compile the data until the error occurrs, and then you would be able to watch what you do you have.
