    German users were having problems with this movie. RipIt4Me has now corrected this with it's new version 1.5. You can find the link in my sig.

    As dialysis1 said, try RipIt4Me, it's free and a must have tool.

    I did mine (Silent Hill, US Region 1) with DVDFAB Decrypter + Vob Blanker, encoded with DVD-RB Pro + CCE SP 2.70 and burned with Nero Burning Rom. My backup came out perfect and flawless.

    Good luck.

    RipIt4Me doesn't use fab decrypter.

    Yes, Ripit4Me will work with Sony movies.

    @tripps11

    Either the latest of DVDFAB or RipIt4Me should be able to handle this movie (SILENT HILL) easily. It's true SILENT HILL has the latest ARccOS (Puppetlock) from Sony, but it's not hard to rip and backup this movie.

    Again, I did/ripped mine with DVDFAB Decrypter (15 minutes), then process the already ripped VIDEO_TS.IFO file (this file is from or under the VIDEO_TS folder) through VobBlanker (5 minutes) and the rest is history.

    For more info on how to use DVDFAB + VobBlanker + DVD Shrink + ImgBurn, go here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/334154 All tools are free + links to download tools.

    Good luck and keep us posted.

    ok, here is my new problem, everything seemed to go fine, but when dvd decrypter was decrypting, it said there was not enough space in the file to hold it. I created a new folder, but it always says the same thing. 300bowler thanks for the link to dvd decrypter, i perfer using that over fab, but didn't think it was available anymore.

    Sounds like somebody is really lost even with all the info dialysis1 and I have provided. I guess afterall, a newbie will always be a newbie.

    Good luck, I'm out of here.
