I used xbox hdm 1.9 and followed the tutorial to the letter to set up my 250GB maxtor drive. Now when i start up my xbox i get the FRAG service message with no error code to speak of. Heres some info on whats going on and things ive noticed. 1. Yes the jumper is on CS 2. The box was soft modded with evox and set up for dual boot. 3. In some random experimentation i decided to unlock my original xbox hd, and noticed it gets a different eeprom password than my maxtor does when i try to lock/unlock it both using the same eeprom.bin off the cd The maxtor gets : 0c2b66ca75827eea7a1ed6340dcb700d6e30009d The original drive gets : a070e57047d27c9334abd3d2b5753d482c82adba i dont know if this is a problem but i cant guess what else is an issue considering the fact that the maxtor is listed several times as compatible Maxtor Model Number: 6y250p0 Im consiodering trying to clone the original xbox drive to the maxtor.
