Well let me tell you my dilemma. I've had my v12 slimline working fine with the infinity modchip untill the laser died out. So i decided to buy a new laser. I bought it and installed it but no games will boot up. i can see the difference between the new and old laser. its a brand new laser and it is the correct version for the v12 slimline. but the cd wont spin. i checked the cables and everything looks fine. any thoughts??? thanks in advance
i am unaware of the anti static point. if you could please elaborate more on this. i haven't de-soldered anything yet
are there any guides to the installation of the v12 laser. i saw some for the regular ps2 but its not the same.
