PROBLEMS WITH VID/AUD SYNCRO ON BURN

I'm trying to burn an .avi video to a DVD with Nero. There are ten files in a series, and all have been burned successfully to DVD. One file I'm having problems with. When I try to burn it, it burns just fine, but the video and audio progressively get out of sync with each other. When I try to watch this file on Power DVD, it works just fine with no syncronization problems at all. Only when I get ready to burn it to DVD does this one file have the sync problems that turn up in the burn.

I've tried cutting out the first part of the video in the "edit" part of Nero, and thought this worked since the audio and video started out in sync at the cut point, but it still progressively got out of sync that way as well.

Does anyone have any thoughts on why this is happening and how I can fix it?
