Hello, I am a newbie and have been learning so much from this unbelievable website. Here is my problem. I am trying to use Virtual Dub and it splits the movie perfectly, and then when I try to burn it or store in on to a hardrive it almost finishes but then I get an error message saying something about the "wrong parameter"??? Any idea what I can do? Your expertise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. -Steve.

What do you mean 'store on the harddrive'?

What's up folks? I've been away for awhile building a new tower after my HD bit the dust. I'm also experiencing this problem for the first time after using V-dub with my new software (XP-Pro). I was using 98se trouble-free joining AVI's, now about 50% of the time I get the same error as cstuck430. Say's "cannot join to file whatever-whichever, parameter is incorrect". Kinda drivin me nuts! I've got plenty of new HD space, but, the pieces are starting to pile up. Seems I'm not alone at least. Any sugestions?

Yes. I used Pecks avi joiner on the same files and it worked fine. I'm not familiar with virtualdubmod, I'll look into that. Ever heard of nandub? I've downloaded the RARed file but having a little trouble installing it properly. Thanks for your time.

Yeah Ive heard about it, but Ive never used it. Most people use it to encode with the divx 3.11 codec or to mux their audio with their movies.
