    Hello
I need a little help if anyone is able to give it to me. When I use the convertxtodvd program I am unable to disable the preview screen once the conversion is started. When I try the program freezes up and does not repsond and I have to close through task manager. It also does the same thing when I attempt to minimize the screen. I have to set the priority setting to the lowest setting then I can minimize. With this setting no preview screen appears. If I attempt to enable the preview screen it does the freeze up again. VSO responded but do not have an answer as they say I am the first one with this problem.
Well at least I am first at something!!
    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Hi there,

What are your PC specs ?

I think maybe your PC is so busy, it doesn't respond to your commands.

On slower systems, I use "Idle" or "Below Normal" as the conversion thread priority.

Check in the configs to set that.

Let me know if this helps !

I'm a ßeta tester for VSO and never had ConvertXtoDVD "Freeze" on me, just real slow to respond if I select Above Normal, High or time critical prioriry !

If the application does freeze/die hard, maybe you have codec packs or an other application that conflicts with it. (Guessing here)

    Good Luck !

As Cougar_II mentioned I also suspect poor resources on your PC. I'm still using the last free version (0.52 if I remember well) with no problem, even when I was using 512 MB RAM. Also since now I have not any lack of codecs.

I think you both were absolutely right. I have now set a low priority setting and I do not have any problems with freezing up.

    Thanks very much for feedback.
