Ok, so i encoded these episodes of beavis and butthead i have to .vob in winavi. The first disc, every episode played great; the second disc, played 1 episode then at the next one my dvd player reacted the way it does when i'm playing a non region-1 dvd. The other 2 discs dont play at all(reacting the same way). I'm using verbatim 16x burned at 8x, so i dont think it's the media. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

4 discs, 8 episodes each, 1st dvd worked great, second only 1 episode, the others nothing.

    hi

so were these discs made one after the other? as i am thinking computer resources may have effected it?

but were all these discs used from the same batch?

all from the same batch, they werent exactly right after each other, neither were they encoded to .vob's right after each other. Computer resources are fine as nothing else was running during those times, and my computer is very capable to handle it. All discs from the same batch too. Uhh, ya, this is kind of a stumper.

    hi

ok, this leads me to the app now winavi i have seen people have problems with this app green video, things like your problems!

use divxtodvd if your files are avi or mpeg, if you have say 8 then load all 8 and it will convert to vob/bup/ifo for burning to dvdr (thats if they dont need shrinking to fit a dvdr5 size first?)

they will play one after the other!
