hello, I'm having some problems playing my wrath Unleashed game back-up on my ver7 ps2 w/ fliptop lid and swampmagic.
Okay I used DVD decrypter to rip and burn the game succesfully.
I ripped at a faster speed, and burned it at 2.4x which is the lowest speed I can write the disc.
The first time I played the back-up it worked fine, but that's the only time! Everytime since, about 20 attempts, the game loads, but when I go to actually start "playing" the game itself, usually when it says prepare to battle and the level starts to load up, it freezes. I let it do it's thing for around an hour, with no change.
Has anyone else had this problem? I would really like to have a working back-up of this game.
I checked Swapmagicfix.com but there is nothing on that game posted at all. Well, thanks.
Also, has anyone else had their Manhunt back-up freeze during saving and have the audio and the game itself be choppy? Thanks

hey billz, thanks again for your help with my champions of Narroth back-up but any way I'm using Memorex DVD+R 4x disc's. I've made back-ups of many games using this media that work fine, so what else to think it could be? Thanks

yeah, I think it could be the laser, when the game freezes the disc is still making the "spinning every now and then" sound. I'll try new media next time. Thanks.
