Hi, I'm new to the AD fourms, and I'm trying to watch AVI files through RealMedia player, I'm getting sound, but the video is coming up black. Does anyone have any links to plugins or such that would make it work for me? Thanks in Advance.
Have you tried watching it with windows media player.Try with it and see if it works.If it doesnt work maybe its just the movie that you might have downloaded are not good.(note:i am not saying that you downloaded just saying that you might have).Try windows media player.
I've actually found that I have troubles with Windows Media Player too with most DivX. Reguardless of all the Codecs I have on my Computer, for some reason or other, It attempts to download it's own version of the codec, and always fails; In which case I end up with sound, and now video. However, I don't really like Windows Media player anyhow, and I just use DivX Player ( http://www.divx.com/divx/ ), it never fails.
