problems...

    i keep getting a cyclic redundancy error with any program i use.


    File 1 C:/Documents and Settings/jeff clark/My Documents/My Videos/VIDEO_TS/VTS_01_3.VOB 23 TCSectorReader



    what can i do to fix this.

    what type of media are you using? what programs?

    A CRC error, especially if it occurs with different software in the same file location, indicates a faulty source. Do a read scan to see if the DVD is showing bad sectors. Dirty, scratched, and smudged discs will cause CRC errors as well. So be sure the disc is as clean and polished as possible. Sometimes there are problems with the press, that cause the CRC error, that aren't visible.
