I am getting a error message when i try to back up Final Destination 3. I am using AnyDVD 6.0.3.1 and CloneDVD 2.8.9.9 It is telling me there was errors but but it finishes and the video file may be corrupted. Anyone else have this problem?

No run anydvd in background then run it through shrink if you get an error it kinda tells what's wrong. I know when I get an error its scratched or my backup was done wrong from the start . have you read anything on Shrink or Decrypter? Don't drive your crazy with one disc try some outher files or disc to test you pc

your-shows possesion, not a contraction of you are, (you're)
Please respond to requests for help kindly, heck I'm a senior and don't know everything, anyone who claims to know it all lives in a small dark trash can in someone else's closet.
@randykirk, specifically which errors are you seeing from AnyDVD/CloneDVD? I have backed up this movie using the same programs without error, as have many others,as seen here,
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/371311
a possible cause is either a defective disk or a dirty/scratched disk, but without seeing the error code I'm making a wild guess.
Possible solutions, rip the movie to your hard drive first using the DVD ripper built into AnyDVD, then let cloneDVD work on it, use a program called DVDDecrypter, available here,
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_dvd_decrypter/
to get the movie onto your hard drive, then let CloneDVD run as usual. It seems that sometimes CloneDVD encounters problems trying to compress and rip at the same time, by having the files on a hard drive, CloneDVD produces better results. Just a suggestion, hope it helps.
Guides for DVDDecrypter, Scuba Pete's the bomb in this area.

    DVDShrink can be found here,

Shrink is basically the same program as NEro Recode2, just not updated anymore, if you have Nero, use recode2,
but honestly, out of all programs, I personally prefer the ANyDVD and CloneDVD combination the best.
