    wassup..

i think i have similar router as you, but i have the wifi access port on it too..

but the thing is i think you need to open up the ftp port on the router.. do this by typing in your router's ip address in your browse (usually http://192.168.0.1)..

then you need to setup allow for the ftp port to be open (not quite sure but i think it gives examples)..

    try that and get back...

    dang dude so close
    ok its actually http://192.168.1.1
that i go to and then i get the whole
    web baised router utility thing
after looking over my manual it says
i have to go to advanced and enable port 21
for the servers ip adress under fowarding
ok understand that type in port 21 to 21
then click the protocal tcp thing but
heres the kicker im supposed to enter a value
for the server it gives me 192.168.1.XXX
and i enter the XX's part
but when i look at my settings/info on my Xbox
it says the IP is 192.168.100.10
so umm yeah what do i do now?
    sooo close!!!

    got it!!!!
so hewres what i did for those of you at home
ok go to http:// your routers IP address find it by
typing ipconfig in your command window (its the default gateway)
then on the main page adjust your IP so the first 3 parts match those of yoru Xbox then hit apply and reboot all the comps on your system then go back to
that page the IP is different now duh so type it in
and then go to advanced and forwarding set the IP thing for what your xbox is on ine was 192.168.100.10 open up port 21 and click the tcp thing (the first box)
and then BAM wholey crap you SHOULD be able to ftp in
    i hoppe that helps someone................

Dang Speedball...I'm quite confused by this. When I go to type in admin it doesn't allow me to...Unfortunately I used the disc that came with it rather than going to the ip address first. When you say type ipconfig in your command window...I am confused what you mean by command window. Where is the command window? I don't know why I cannot access the http://192.168.1.1 screen...everytime I enter admin it just goes back to blanks in the username and password. Username is blank and password is admin...but it doesn't work
