I always wanted to know which of the Core2Duo laptop processors would be better. I see that there are processors such as the T7200 that are 2GHz, 4MB cache and 667 FSB. Then I see the T7250 that are 2GHz, 2MB cache but 800 FSB. Which would truly be better? I also wanted to know the website that compares processors for you, I remember that there was one.
T7250 that are 2GHz, 2MB cache but 800 FSB would be better. 4MB cache and 533 FSB is an over kill for now i have read: processors --> T5550 and the T5500 --->T5550 came out after the T5500 all the XX50's did ..a better processor but higher energy consumption and they give off more heat. Laptop batteries and the time they last make using the xx50's less ideal; however, te proformance is better. L2 Cache---> A cache is a small, higher speed memory system which stores the most recently used instructions or data from a larger but slower memory system. FSB---> the size of the door way between the joined area of the mother board and the processor or how much processed information can be given at to the mother board from the processor at once. 1st post edited, it was 667 FSB. Also thanks for clarifying that. That's probably why the AMD line was killing the Intel line until the release of the Core2's.
