Would someone explain what is meant by "having a program running in the background". I have heard this many times here and don't know exactly what this means. Several different programs have been mentioned of which I have all. Sorry I am new but have learned very much here and all the hard work put into your tutorials and guides have been the best, top notch work. Thanks.

    hi there

having things run in the background are stuff like your antivirus software! all the little icons down by your pc clock, things in your startup folder in start menu, and you can also have things running you cant see by clock or by whats mentioned...

press ctrl-alt-delete then go to processes tab and lookat those there.

Some posts had mentioned haveing something like anydvd running in the background and I thought that some combinations of burning/editing software worked better in combination. Thanks

    hi

alot say use anydvd and clonedvd 2 as they compliment eachother and from same makers i believe, are you having any dificulties with dvd creations?

anydvd aids ripping out protection (in background) well clonedvd 2 does its stuff...

No trouble burning. I have followed all the guides step by step and all have worked very well and a big thanks. I was just wondering about the terminology and didn't want to miss any possible edge for quality and reliability.
