Program to convert MKV to MP4?

    I just wanted tpo know if there is a program that allows you to convert those new X264 MKV files that are popular with HD rips to an HD MP4 file? I have heard there is problems with the sound being in sync with some programs but I am not using the soundtrack for my purposes so I just need one that converts the the movie with the picture looking good. Any suggestions?

    Install MKVtoolnix/MKVextractgui to demux audio and video.
    Then use YAMB to remux the files into the mp4 container.

    Why convert MKV files? That will cause some lose of quality in image and sound.It also has numerous features that mp4 lacks.
    However, if you want to convert them, you can do it easily with the help of some tools.
    As I know, GOTSent is a 100% freeware to convert .MKV (Matroska) video files to the mp4 format.
