"Programming error - exception occured"

    From triber/
    When trying to open disc I get a message box with the following "DVD Shrink encountered and error and cannot continue. "Programming error - exception occured"
    Has happened with two discs. Any suggestions how to overcome this problem.

    This is one of the most common problems in this forum, for instance Shrink is outdated and can't cope with the copy protection on most of the newer movies. Try using the simple to use and awesome (and permanently free) DVDFab HD Decrypter - http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm - it's very frequently updated.. use DVDFab to rip DVD's in full disc mode or main movie mode, then point DVD Shrink at the files output from DVDFab, then Shrink can do it's thing like it always has - it just needs help with the encryption side of things..

    Thanks creaky. Works a treat. Although when I try to use Shrink the file details are different from the previous one and are difficult to burn. Otherwise very happy.
