Would anyone know of a easy to use software program to copy my computer hard drives to one external drive. Any suggestions appreciated.
the link below shows a review of some disk imaging software and there features side by side. If your using windows xp, paragon drive backup has a bootcd with a boot corrector, which will come in handy. I tried ghost (could never get a succesful restored), I currently use true image and it's quick and works most of the times (but sometimes requires a boot corrector to be succesful). I tried the demo of paragon drive backup but it was a lot slower than true image (which was a deal killer for me). But I heard alot of good reviews on paragon. True Image has a good forum which has many knowledgeble users to help if you run into problems. The only problem with true image, is that the latest version has issues with some hardware, which earlier versions didn't have (I have version 9). In my case true image has always recovered my hard drive, when upgading to a larger hard drive or hard drive failure, the problems I encountered where fixed with a boot corrector(5 minute fix). Hard drive imaging software needs to trial first before you buy, to make sure it works on your hardware. http://disk-imaging-software-review.toptenreviews.com/ http://www.wilderssecurity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=65
