I have recently aquired a Sanyo Projector and have tested it on my playstation 2 ... it played the video no probs but i couldn't get sound to work, i tried using my 5.1 surround sound system which didn't work, and also my PC stereo speakers, I tried these both into the AUDIO-IN and AUDIO-OUT socket but they will not work, any suggestions !? also, the projector will not play audio without external audio devices either and it should do, shouldn't it? any help graetly appriciated ...
Which sanyo projector do you own? What type of audio-out is it (RCA, Mini pin female?) Do you mean it must be connected to an amplifier? If it doesn't have "variable audio" capabilites it should be connected to an amp/receiver. Ced
Yeah I have an acer projector that I have my PS2 hooked up to and I only have the video signal going to the projector, the audio signal goes directly to my surround sound system and it works perfectly. We'll definently need the model number of the sanyo to clear this up.
