I am new to all this software boot stuff. Here is my story:
    1. Installed PS2 network adapter.
    2. Installed 120G HD (Maxtor).
    3. Hooked up network adapter to PS2.
    3. Turned on PS2 power switch. Inserted HD loader CD (and DVD format). (this is a copy I dl'd from the net). I made a copy in CD format and another in DVD format.
The PS2 accessed to the HD loader CD (or HD loader DVD) and read disc data. And that was it. Then it ask to insert a DVD. I guess it asks for a game DVD.
Apparently it did not see what is on the CD or DVD. I made a copy both in CD and DVD format, and played both.
I am not sure what I was doing wrong here. I want to be able to at least get the menu from HD loader or HD Advance to do my things.
Please give me a correct procedure how to use HD loader to boot.

if its not an original pressed hdadvance or hdloader disc, you need to have some way of booting it. mod or smd

i use swap magic and have hdadvance on mc exploit, but if go the mod way, i would recomend dms4 pro, since they getting ready to release toxic os flash for it, wich looks like its gonna be sweet.
