mate that is WAAAAY over budget. i consulted a PSU calculator and it recommended for me 353W according to the specs of my system. so im just going with 425 for safety.
Yes, but Hiper PSus break, a lot. You need a quality unit, you should NEVER limit your budget for a PSU or bad things happen.
oh ok :S well ill get back to you, it turns out that my case only supports matx so ill have to get a new cae and psyu alltogether
It's good. I was initially veering away from it merely because of how similar the design looked to the Antec 900 - once the full thing was released however, its unique little features became more noticeable, and I actually quite like it. The pair of top 140mm fans that are included with it are a superb idea, and the twin front LED system is different, and welcome. Reasonably priced, well made and well cooled, if you like its looks it's an excellent case.
The RC-690 is like 10-15 dollars less. If you want to get that, well good for you. I mean it's not a bad case, it matches the Tempest in cooling. The sidefan is kinda annoying though(and I have a HIGH tolerance for noise) and the build quality is a bit flimsy.
Sigh, I see you went with it because it comes with a PSU. That's still not a very good PSU either. By all means get the Elite 330, but buy the version that doesn't come with a PSU, and get the following unit instead: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/120375 This is the absolute cheapest PSU I would recommend using.
right ok thanks for that, ill go ahead and buy a case and that PSU. but unfortunatley im not going to have time to put anything together until the end of august because im starting my business within a few days time and then im going away for 6 weeks. so im thinking that ill just order when i return to see what sort of new things have arrived. thanks again, and i suppose we'll contine this within a couple of months
