protect o disc

    my disc has protect o disc on it and 2 bars across disc,
    can i somehow still copy to pc/dvd+r??

    seems to be a layer of plastic on top of regular disc of dvd movie. says protect o disc and 1 800325 6867, then near center says about do not remove this layer, it will damage disc and you will be responsible to buy a new one......

    it does play, but u cant record ......

    i figure if i can watch it there is a way to copy it anyway.... thnx

    Sounds like it has one of those CD Condoms that they sell at Walmart that are used to prevent Scratches

    Like I said, never seen it, but try to back it up and post results. I'm sure we'd all be interested in knowing more about this.
