I have questions, you've got answers....

What makes a PS2 DVD backup unplayable in the PS2? I mean we have the ability to backup all sorts of cd's dvd's with a 1 to one image of the disc. Shouldn't a 1 to one copy of the PS2 dvd work as well?

    On to Mod Chips

What is the difference? Is one beter than the other?

    HD Loader
    HD Advance
    Solder In
flip top case with without swipe card?

    Oh what to do?

I have aquired over 200 PS2 games over here in Iraq and I am heading home on Sunday and i want to get somthing so I can play them on the PS2 at home.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated...

Right first of all sly told me ps2 games have bad sectors which ps2 checks for to see if it is a real game. These cannot be copied.
Hd loader and advance are basicly the same they boot games from a hardrive in your ps2 (network adaptor required)
Solderless chips work only with version 4-7 consoles and work with the swap magic boot disc.
Ok there in the ps2 section.
A solder chip is the way to go but only if you can get a professional install. You will probably break your ps2 if you attempt it yourself.
A flip top case works with swap magic disc and can be seen here http://www.linker4u.com/pp/linker4u.asp
heres the swap magic discs http://www.linker4u.com/pp/linker4u.asp
And heres the slide card whic also works with swap magic i reccomend this if you do not want to take the lid of your ps2 http://www.linker4u.com/pp/linker4u.asp

and dont get a solder-less because it will probably blow a fuse and you will void your warranty. if your really into gaming get a good solder in chip like the matrix infinity. these guys do great installs http://www.norcalmods.com
