Hello I have a NTSC PS2 90001 with data code 8c. This is an origianl machine and I want to softmod it. However, I am not sure whether Swag Magic 3.6 would support my system, as some said it's ok and some said not. Is there any successful case out there? As for FMCB(Free mcboot), I have a lot of trouble to install data into my memory card. I read tons of tutorials and I am getting more confused each time. Furthermore, I don't have a swag magic. Do you think to install data into memory data is possible? Or do you know where can I buy a card with FMCB in Vancouver, Canada? Thank you all. I am new to gaming, so please help me out! PS: I tried to put FMCB nookie pack into the usb, but my ps2 failed to recognize my usb......not sure how can i get it recognized.... Thanks!
i'm sure the ps2 with data code 8c or higher cannot be modified with fmcb. Try swapping for an earlier version.
