ps2 back up

    Sup guys im sorry if there is answer for my questoins somwhere else on here but i checked.

    1. how do i go about in backing up the ps2 game?? like when i get ready to burn do i just go to make copy of dvd??? If you dont understand wut im asking, what im asking is when i put the actual ps2 game into my dvd burner what do i do next and how do i copy it.

    thanks guys, im such a noob

    someone told me in order to copy and burn a ps2 game you have to rip it,is this true

    Yes simply rip to iso and burn it with a program of your choice.

    how do you rip to iso? i will use nero to burn

    cyro the place you sent me to didnt tell me how to actually rip the ps2 game it just showed me how to copy it

    You don't have to "rip" anything. Just make a simple one to one disc copy then boot it as per your mod's instructions. "ripping" refers more to stripping out contents of a DVD based game to make it fit onto a blank CD-R which is another advanced topic all in itself.

    Hi jrock6

    I use Decryptor to back up my PS2 Games.

    Your PS2 needs to be modified first so that it can read the discs.

    DVDR is the most reliable.Format.

    You do have to re-author the disc using a programme like decryptor.

    Copy the disk and save as iso files then write to disk.
