    Okay, here it goes...

I have an old PS2 with the external network adapter. I'm trying to buy a HD and a good software program that will copy umages onto the HD and run them as simple as possible.

    THE PROBLEM:
1 What kind of HD is preferred and what is the GB limit?
2 What program should I purchase if I want to play games that use the DNAS certification software such as Everquest and Socom?
3 How do I edit the program so that DNAS will not notice my copy?
4 Can I copy the program which lets me play coppied games so that I can bypass the Driver altogether?
5 Will I need my computer to do any editing for DNAS, and if so how do I do this?

Mind you i'm not computer illiterate, just not sure how to do software editing and last time I wanted to buy a program such as HD Advanced, no one knew how to crack DNAS. All I want to do is get around my DVD Driver so that my PS2 works longe, and keep my original games in mint condition.

If anyone has any cite(s) which are relevant, please send me a link or just place em here so I can start looking for it. I know there are threads on our site concerning DNAS but i'm not sure which one pertains to me and how to do this. What I'm trying to avoid is spending hunred of dollars and finding out that it dosen't work.

    PS

That's what I thought, but, someone in this community said that there were a few forums dedicated to editing DNAS for PS2 and that it was cracked a few months ago. I'm not sure if he was just fooling around oor if he was serious, all I want to do is eliminate access time and cut down on the drive usage so that load time is faster and Drive has less wear and tear on it.

i think SoCom will not work online even if patched from what i hear.

3 How do I edit the program so that DNAS will not notice my copy?
see above post about how to patch the games

4 Can I copy the program which lets me play coppied games so that I can bypass the Driver altogether?
not that i have heard, the only thing i have seen is the Crystal Chip V1.1 has a hacked BIOS available that will auto patch the games for online play

5 Will I need my computer to do any editing for DNAS, and if so how do I do this? Yes, you will need a computer, a good DVD burner, and some free software to back up and patch the games.

Not real sure if you can play online from a HDD. I do not really keep up with that. I only play online with Xbox as it is much less of a hassle.
