OK, I've got a really old PS2, a V4 I think. Anyway, I can get hold of a Duo 2 chip, pretty cheap. Will it help the loading time of the PS2, seeing as it's SLooooW!? And obviously it'll help with burned DVD's ect. It needs 19 wires soldering, but we could probably do that. I don't are much about wrecking the PS2, as it's so old, for hells sake, I fixed it with BUTTER the other day! Is it worth it? It'll be like less then £5, should I get it. All I want it for is for the Burned PS2 games. And somewhere in the rules it says don't say things like "that chip sucks, get a real chip like..." Well, can you do the opposite? I want to know what it's like. I'm not forking out on an expensive chip for this peice-of-crap PS2. Thanks!
if all you want is to play burned PS2 games it will be fine. That chip is about as outdated as your V4 PS2 but is a cheap and stable chip. and would still beat the heck out of Swap Magic
Awesome, thanks! Although, I could probably bump it up to a Duo 3 Gold, but is it worth it? What advantage is there?

i would, you would have to compare features but the newer version would always have the latest stuff.
