Firstly this is my TV http://www.dealtime.co.uk/xPF-Philips_32_High_Definition_Ready_LCD_TV If i want to use component cables i have the adapter that connects the red/blue/green to dvi. But what will i do with the sound? The component cables have 2 sound cables aswell. But i have no stereo near the TV. Is there anyway i could get the sound to play out the tv and the video running aswell. Thanks
I looked at the specs on the tv. You should have audio in, in the the same area of the dvi input of the tv. Look for the red and white rca jacks. If I find anything different, I'll kick back in. EDIT>After looking at the spec pdf. Looks like you will have to get a rca to 1/8", 3.5mm, phono adapter for the dvi input. That should get you going.
According to the website your TV has mini jack audio input. You can use a cable adaptor like this: http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...804&p_id=666&style=&seq=1&format=1#largeimage Connect the sound cables (red & white) from your PS2 to the female rca end of the cable and the mini jack to your TV's audio input.
