I made a backup of a PS2 game to see if it works in the PS2 and it doesn't. Is this because I need a special MODchip to make this happen or did I neglect to set the settings wrong before backing up?

If it isn't as simple as pulling the ISO files and dumping them on media, can someone drop a step by step process on how to do this for PS2 games?

    Thanks in advance

Couple of problems with your post. It's not in the right area, and you didn't do a search for what you're looking for. There are several guides on this site, just use the search button. Yes, you need to modify your PS2, the easiest and cheapest is to get a flip-top with Swap Magic. Look around and let us know if you have any more questions. Also, what program did you use to back-up your game?
