PS2 Debbuging (TEST) System and PS2 Backups

    Hello - does anybody know if it is possible to get DVD and CD backups to work with the PS2 debugging systems? (They look pretty much the same as a standard PS2 except with TEST written on top instead of PS2.)

    i have heard rumours about some kind of CD patcher needed to apply to image files after you copy the DVD, but so far ive had no joy with anything i try.

    Some games burnt are recognised as PS2 discs in the PS2 browser area but dont get past that, others give the nasty red "insert ps2 disc" sreen.

    any help appreciated.
    the PS2 is a dtl-h30002 model.

    If it has test instead of ps2 on the top then all you should need to do is patch the game and then it should play without a modchip. I dont know what you gotta patch it with though.

    yer thats what somebody else has told me, but i just dont know what kind of patch, or most importantly where to find it :(

    Is there a way to convert your PS2 to a "test" system, like flashing the BIOS or something?
