PS2 doesn't detact Harddrive

    UM...

    I turn the ps2 console on and it says that ps2 can't found hardware installed.

    I'm using HD Advance 2.0 on the BIG PS2 console.


    When I tried the other harddrive, it works fine and not the other one, why is that one not working?

    The one not working has alot of stuff in it and the other one only has 3 things in it.
    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

    See if it can be detected inside a computer using WinHIIP.

    it works just not with ps2. weird huh?

    I had the same problem
    the were two fuses gone in the ps2 all worked except the hdd
    they are the two 50's on the network board the power the hdd..

    1. Was the "nonworking" hard drive worked in ur ps2 before?
    2. Did you set the jumper to Master for the non-working hd?
    3. If all else failed, try formatting it.

    Yeah it worked before.
    Yeah set to master.


    Hm... when I looked at the hd, the blue thingy was burned. but when i looked at the other hd, it doesnt look burned.
