ps2 dvd-rw

    Hi - I have an early ps2 that's been modded. It plays dvd-r fine but won't play a batch of dvd-rw. Are the dvd-rw discs dud or does the machine not play them at all? Any response appreciated

    Hi Croco

    I also have an early PS2, and have been unable to use DVD-RW. I believe that its only the more recent PS2's that are compatible with these disks.

    that's what I suspected. Never mind I'll try again with DVD-R instead
