Heres the go. my laser is totally gone wont read anything disc just keeps spinning faster and faster then stops (pretty sure its the laser). So i thought of going to a hdd (should of done that in the first place, got a chip instead). is it even possible to boot hdd without a disc have read thru many threads and its not looking good. I thought the games could be loaded to my hdd by my pc but the problems gonna be gettin them started with no laser. So the question- is am i lookin at dead end with no laser trying to use a hdd? or Should I just track down a new laser which is proving difficult? (im in new zealnd) Any help appreciated
Well it loads of a disk, and if you do the exploit you still need a disk, so no way out, have you opened up your system to check to see if the laser still lights up?
