    Hey all...

I heard from a friend of mine that if you eject a PS2 game disc and it was warm, then the laser was excerting more power levels than usual, and this affects the lifespan of the laser diode.

I use Imation discs for my backups, and of course I have a modded PS2, and the discs comes out normal not warm or anything even after extended gameplay hours! does this mean Imation discs are good medias to copy? Or is there any other brands to recommend? P.S : there are no Taiyo Yuden discs in the country I live in so please specify any other good medias to use (I live in Egypt :) )

    Thanks all !
