ps2 laser slim

hello i have a new ps2 laser and i remove the anti static but the laser is not working
the laser will lit red with protection on? or when you remove the protection will lit red
any other ideas

You will want to make sure you removed all the solder.

hey thanks for the reply i think the anti static is open well even my worm motor is draging my laser up and flicks and the laser is not liting red or something

 

You must still have some solder on it, if its not lighting up 'red'

Make sure the cable is inserted all the way also.

 

i think the laser is dead iam gonna to contect the seller
