@ Gurm A few posts ago you said that you maintain MOST of them, but earlier you said they should ALL work. Now that you bring up the external variable, I wonder what it could be if it's not the partitioning of it.
our intention was not to start a fight or anything ^^ basically for everyone who is following or reading this thread hoping their USB key will work, if you have a USB key and you did the HP formatting and it does'nt work.....sorry ^^;; you are out of luck~ try another USB key ^^
can someone tell me where i can download HP FORMAT TOOL, i was looking for it all over. HP Site's link doesn't work. i am glad that the thread i started very long time ago still alive and doing well. One more thing, i had a Creative mp3 player Mu.VO 256mb about a year or so back, it was working fine with MAX EVO, until it got crashed and stopped working, after that i couldn't find any other pendrive that works. i wonder if kingston pendrives work? thanks
ok, I know I'm either late or Too late for this thread, but I'll give it a shot any way...I have my own 256MB flash drive , a V7 ps2 moddded, and i've loaded some .max roster files from NCAA Football 2006. The flash drive lights up only when the game begins, BUT it doesn't show where the files are in the PS2 (Only my mem card bays 1&2), i've used MAX DRIVE to load the files from my CPU to the flash drive, but nothing shows on the PS2. Can someone direct me where I can D/L an image of the file or e-mail it to me?????????? Thanx!!!!!!
Scratch That! Got another problem...I got a copy of ar max burnt on cd and everything...now it won't load ... Tried loading it in the ps2 alone and it gave me a red screen, saying it needed a ps2 formattted disk. Then tried with a swap magic CD version disc then it just froze with another type of red screen. What to do...HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
I got a Sandisk 256MB USB pendrive and it wont work on the PS2,I borrowed a LEXAR 512MB and it worked fine,I am wondering is it XPs format style that fcks with the drive? I recall havieng troubles with gettign stuff formated by XP to work on 9X and stuff....,anyway I am reading thru this thread. I have Code breaker Version 9 and a version 7 PS2,it seems comaplitblty for the PS2 flash drive wise is fickle 0-o I dont think sandisk USB drives work at all on PS2s 0-o
I jsut read thru pen drive compabity on Code breakers forum, the sandisk micro 128 will work, the rest of the Micro/Mini line wont work but the rest of the sandisk pendives seem to work. http://forums.cmgsccc.com/showthread.php?t=9949 http://forums.cmgsccc.com/showthread.php?t=467 and thanks to sonys cheapness the Slimline is even more fickle with pedrives http://forums.cmgsccc.com/showthread.php?t=1458
hey everyone, I had a problem, and no one solved it...Know why??? cause the only solution is to buy AR max and use any flash drive up to a 512 mb and format it in FAT...Now yes, there is a way w/ Clone cd/dvd to burn the AR Max software,... but burning it makes it unbootable (just like trying to burn a swap magic disc)...I've tried, so I know...So here's the solution...purchase the AR Max for 30 bucks (@ Circuit City/Best Buy) then use your own flash pen (Up to 512MB FAT formatted). So cough up the dough, you cheap a$$holes......
ajbnkcbnk you also have to remember depending on what USB card you use it may have issues with stuff to,formating to fat is not a garrentte it will work.
Hey everyone I had been trying to do an AR MAX Back up CD but nothing, I doubt using a Flash Pen Drive it will work doubt that... Hey what kin dof USB Flash Drive did you used?
I have a non modded ps2 and I use gameshark v5. I can't get the gameshark to recognize my sandisk cruzer micro 256 mb pen drive. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions on what to do???
Corvinus sandisk 256MB minis and macros do not work on the PS2,the macro 128 dose but it can be fickle to show up on older programs. I have a 256MB macro. you can get lexar 128MB off ebay for under 20.
well Markman29, if you are using a back-up of ar max, why don't you tell us how you did it, if you are indeed a genious yourself. People are always saying what they have or how they got something to work, but can never explain briefly how they made it work. To me that's just selfish or even down right stupid....way to go "Markman29".
ajbnkcbnk I am thinkign soemthign along the lines of a good quailty mod chip or a ramdom one that works a desent copy of the AR and finaly a comaptable pen drive, these factors can add up to soemthing working, but I think it depends on at least the modchip and the PS2 version depending on what you ahve the results are what you get *L* Markman29 Tell us this PS2 ver AR ver Pen drive Mod chip (flash updates if any) DVD brand and the way you copied it (nero, alchol, ect, ect) Altho I dotn think tis in the copy of the disc but the hardware itself.
