    Hi!
Thanks for helping, I finally got around to installing my duo2 modchip (version 7, 17 point connection) and everything works fine except when I play backup games, the screen "skips", or flickers. Original games work fine, and I checked all the solder points, they seem clean. Any tips?
    Thanks again!

What brand of media are you using? What speed did you burn the backups at? And what program are using to burn with?

Thanks for the reply, Smoky, hadn't thought of all that! I'm using Active@ ISO Burner with the write speed set at "auto-select", should I be more selective? I should also mention that the sound still plays fine while the image is skipping, and the channel graphics and the menus from the TV's bios skip with the image. Thanks very much!

    No problem,

For PS2 backups, use imgburn or Nero and burn at 4x - 16x
It depends upon your burner a lot, and the brand and speed of discs you use also too which speed will work best on your PS2.

For PS1 backups, Try using Alcohol 120 if you have it, and set Datatype to 'Playstation'
Or use Nero, Clonecd, or imgburn (imgburn is free)

    Burn at 16x (try first) - 24x

Tried the new disk, but same problem persists. To be even more specific, its as if the image is rapidly scrolling downward at about 5 times a second, in black and white. Any television generated images (channel numbers, video menu, etc.) also are affected, but "jump" instead of scrolling down. Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot, I'll continue to check my connections.

    Ahhh I wondered...

It sounds like the game is different region from you ps2. PAL>NTSC or vice versa seeing you didn't say what version PS2 you have.

Do you have a configuration screen for the duo2
