ps2 parts in a pc

    I have a broken ps2 laying around nd i was just wondering could you use PS2 parts for a computer

    and your sig is too big, saeth the rules, but i'm not nit-picking. :p

    juelz, what's broken about the ps2? if it was repairable, there is much that can be done with it. if not, it's only good for spare parts...for other ps2's.

    @pspness: yes, I read his post, I know is ps2 is broken, I was simple stating that a working one can be turning into a computer...obviously a broken one won't work.

    This is a interesting idea. How you can you turn a ps2 into a working computer? Im curious...

    I don't know the specific steps, but I have seen it on several ps2 websites years ago. I'm sure a google search will find a guide on how to do it.

    The only google turned up was a project at sourceforge bout turning a xbox into a puter with linux. Although I did find out some company is realeasing a package including a hard drive so ya can run linux on the ps2 sometime this year. 200 for that including linux, harddrive, kb, and mice.:>
