ps2 remote help wanted!! please :)

i have a ps2 remote and reciever but no installation cd...can i get around this by downloaded the software somewhere??
Please help, would like it to be working til i replace the broken dvd player

 

you can play DVD movies by using the controller, no need
for a remote like an unmodded Xbox?
may be i am just not understanding the question?
Check the official Sony Playstation website, they may have it.

 

I had the PS2 remote aeons ago. Unless something has changed, it doesn't have any installation software. You plug the receiver in the memory card slot and you're ready to go.

 

i think you need a remote for xBox

I dont need the remote, i need the reciver to work as my dvd player broken and my son got a new tv ineraction game frm his grandad.

And wen i bought the remote orginally it came wit a cd to install but i cant find since ive moved.

And no the xbox comment doesnt help at all thanx, and i have been to offical playstation web site and cant find.

Don't know, that's a tough one. If there's nothing about it on the offical Sony site, I don't know that you have a lot of options. Either try plugging the receiver into the MC slot and see if it works, or just use the controller for the time being. Other than that you can buy a new remote if you have the dinero. I know that's not real useful, but that's all I can come up with. Good Luck.
