I am using a 1080p 24" lcd monitor ,this tv to be exact, it has a 1900 x 1200 native resolution. I'm currently using a S-video monster cable for the PS2 and it looks pretty bad, its jsut extremely blurry, i dont know if its casue the monitor is jsut too high resolution or what, but I was wondering howe big a difference getting a component cable for the PS2 would make or if it would be pretty close to the same picture quality?

Thanks in advance, I regreet buying this monitor now casue its jsut too high res and anything less than 1080p looks pretty bad on it. its a major resource hog running games at 1900 x 1200 too, wastes my 8800gts

component is better than svideo. However, I am not sure if the ps2 will look any better on that high resolution of a TV.

Of course xbox360 would look fantastic, but a ps2? I doubt it.

I changed from PS2 Scart to a component connection on my 32" Toshiba LCD (Native 1366 x 768) and the differnece was incredible.
