PS2 Slim Matric infinty modchip wont boot

    hi i have a ps2 slim running on a matrix Infinity mod-chip...it was all running smoothly but i accidentally open the matrix menu i didn't change a thing just press start and it said to press reset and then it just wont read back-up disc anymore i tried to flash it with a newer firmware but all i get is this, when in stanby mode and turn it on i just get a blank screen but when i soft reset it the system boot but to no avail reading the disc i get the red screen..can somebody help with this one..can i don't know if i have a fake mod-chip or not...and when i press triangle+circle it comes to the matrix menu..tnx in advance

    This disc that comes up now with Red screen of death, did this disc work before pressed Start.

    Red screen of Death, means the PS2 can't understand the format of the disc.

    How did you burn the disc?

    The only way to know if you have a clone is to take it apart and look.
