WEll, good luck and i would preferred a swap magic over mod chip. Modchip is sure can be easy and faster once u got itn solder in but like a few have mentions, Burn out problems, so take my word, swap magic will last you longer. WEll, again good luck!

u have made a wise choice..... just make sure you order the right model flip top based on the SCPH number on the back of your PS2....any website you order from should have a list of those number and the corresponding version of the flip top for you... ENJOY!!!!
