Ps2 v7 and dvd+r

hello

i wanted to know if a v7 usa ps2 machine can play dvd+r. i have a friend that has a pal machine that is v7 and dvd+r dont work for him. Will they work for me?

Has anyone tryed this on a v7

what media is he using?
and burning software? v7 are suppose to support +r does -r work for him

 

I have v7 and +r work like a charm.

Fuji DVD+R media created on Iomega (really NEC) burner...using DVd Decrypter for both read and write.

 

he is using verbatim
and i think he burns it with primo dvd

 

thats weird I have never heard anyone with a v7 ps2 not being able to read +r discs

but to answer your question yes v7 can read +r discs

do dvd+r work for normal dvd movies on a dvd player?

do all dvd players in a computer support dvd-r and dvd+r and dvd players for the t.v. work?

 

I beleive that all computer ones do support both formats but not all stand alone dvd players do most of the newer ones do but some of the older ones only support -r
