Ps3 and Xbox 360, a war to come..

A biased source there anubis, I don't think it was as terrible as it is potryed there I mean look at the last two lines:

That just shows how much this guy doesn't like m$ and how biased the source is as he sticks in his own opinions and negative wording to make m$ sound like the next anti christ. But saying that launch didn't go fantastic, in fact looking at the japanese market here most japanese pple say they won't get the 360 until some of the rpg's like lost odessye and blue dragon come out all the whilst there are shortages in the U.S.A, doesn't make sense. Anyway all that doesn't bother me cos ime in auss and when it comes out here I will definitly have my hands on one. And computers = life forms???? WTF??

 

if you notice on the left hand side, that site supports all systems. they have a dif poage for everything even 360

and seriously m$ should worry about themselves first so they can win. if they dont fix what's wrong what change do they have?

and time was used well on the xbox i did not say it wasnt. same goes with ps3. the 360 had dev time but was way to fast pushing out.

 

But it is partly true, M$ is constinly making fuss about sony. "sony this... sony is goign to loose 1billion because of ps3, said from a m$ engenier" Attack on sony"
And all the media fuss about xbox360 being sold out is making it look good. But actually, currently it sold less than the original xbox because of the shortage.

 

Ok everyone. I am going to post all my biased information and no one better complain.

 

Anubis the SITE may be multi format but that POST was clearly done by someone with an anti microsoft view, it's plain to see as I show in my post above as I discuss. Now like I also said yes that post wasn't completely false but I wouldn't want to take information from such an obviously biased source.

You really get to me somtimes Kookoo. On one hand you hate biased infromation but when somthing biased towards 360 is posted you suggest it as ok. This is not fair and you know it. Just because Microsoft have done a good marketing sacm (which evry company does) you get a little upset.

If thats the case Kookoo then again why was it deemed ok to post a biased piece of information from anubis? Second of all if you like the 360 equaly to the PS3 then why is you dont check out the clips from 360 as well as those clips (wow look at GT5) from Sony?

Finally, seeing as its ok to be posting this biased information now, here is a pice that was posted on here earlier by someone but Kookoo thought of it wrong (unlike what anubis posted).

 

One final thing. If you claim you are non biased towards either company then why on earth does it seem like you are biased towards PS3?

Also if I was as narrow minded as anubis I would still be buying a PS3. Why, you might ask? Because he only looks at one thing with his tunnel vision and that is PS3. He looks at PS3 news, PS3 video's, PS3 games. What does he look at when it comes to 360? A quick touch of the controler (having negative thoughts before even touching the thing) and all the information posted about 360 from a PS3 biased site. Well its because I am not like anubis that I like to see what all consoles have to offer and so far 360 seems to be the best, however it would be best to wait until January to get more of a scoop on the PS3.

As i already said, my internett goes only 128 kbs, and 56kb sec upload. If i were still downloaidng it it would be finished in 2 hours from now. I have crap internet. Second ff and GT are my fav games. I just wanted to show people it who are curios about gt5, i didnt make a statement of anysort except it looks real nice. And that the file is only 25mb. I have hte time to download it.

I said im buying a 360 aswell. Not that i like 360 equilly to ps3. Ask yourself the same question and youll get the same answer i would say. I just perfer the ps3. You perfer 360. DONE. I dont use biased info websites.

 

Whether you said part of the information is wrong or not, you have still claimed that part of that biased source is correct. I could have said that I think both consoles are ferraries from that last quote. You would have claimed me as wrong as I took this from a biased source of information, the same apllies.

Regardles of your connecion speed you have not seen what 360 has to offer therefore you cannot pass judgment. I like GT as well but dont you like to see and research into new games that might be better, hense why I keep on going on about Gears of War?

You keep on using the fact that because your buying a 360 it lets you off the hook as being non biased. Well I am also buying a PS3 somwhere down the line but I am quit certain it will not be as good as my 360. So I prefer 360 and you prefer PS3. DONE. I dont use biased info website's and I dont agree on biased info websites either. (please dont use my Ferarrie thing I bring up here as an arguing point to what I just said. I was using it as an example)

but i have been talkin to people on this thread and its all gettin blown out of preportion, it turns out none of use a really 'fanboys' or biased to one console or another..

we've jus looked at interviews reviews etc and made our own minds up..

I dont pass judgment, i state what i know about ps3, then i judge the specs of the systems. And how it has been with ps2 and xbox. Thats it, i dont even use resorces most of the time about games. Mabey like somtimes, but not all the time, mostly the thaughts i ahave about games is oppinion based. To be honest, you've looked at like all ps3 games, while i've only looked at some of them. Games mean nothing to me so far. Ps3 didnt state what new games they will have since may 16. Whats the point man? My oppinion is wait and you'll see.

Do you have a xbox and a ps2? You do right? Which one do you perfer? Xbox? Well? Same goes arround with me. Currently ps3 is more of what i like than the 360. Thats it, nothing else. Mabey things will change say if like the ps3 doesnt have anymore of those games that i like like. But currently i dont know, so i perfer ps3 because of what it can produce. The [bold]facts[/bold]. Moving along. I think I get frustrated when someone says 'look at the GT5 deomstration' and everyone goes to have a look (like everyone should) and says WOW! (rightfully so) Then someone says 'look at Gears of War' and no one responds because they dont bother to look. In Kookoo's case I can understand but not everyone here is on dial up.

Answering your question, (Kookoo) to if I have a xbox or PS2 the answer is yes and due to my little brother I am fortunate enough to also be playing a Game Cube. I say fortunate but to be honest Nintendo is going down hill but that is for another forum.

Having a PS2 first I thought I would love the system and when Microsoft revealed the xbox I was nearly as negative towards it as [bold]anubis[/bold]. I remember when me and my brother went into the game shop and saw it there, so we waited in the que and gave it a try. Our fisrt impressions where not good. Already having a negative attitude towards the xbox made things worse but we didnt like the controler and our first experiance of Halo wasnt good either. Our impression of the console was rubbish. However if it wasnt for getting the xbox as a present then I wouldnt have relised how wrong me and my brother where. Halo is now one of my all time favourite games along with Doom and Metal Gear Solid.

The point I am trying to make with this little story is that people who dont give things a chance will never know. Going to look at the 360 in a negative way and playing on it for half an hour does not make it worhty of anyone to pass judgent as I found out with the xbox.

There hasnt been many games shown for the PS3 yet. But Kookoo from my understanding you like RPG games with a Japanese style? I would strongly suggest you check out the exclusive RPG games made by some top Japanese developers coming to the 360. Besides Resident Evil coming to 360 there is also this another exclusive game from Capcom called Lost Planet which looks really good. Also Blue Dragon pictures are out now. There is also CRYON (Sakaguchi is the producer and Nobuo Uematsu will handle the music, both of Final Fantasy fame), Bullet Witch, Lost Odessy, Mass Effect (although its more of a American RPG than Jananese).

 

I just cant believe x360 didnt include a hddvd drive. Do they really think a DVD DL is gonna be enough room to fit these incredibly sophisticated games? There are some PS2 games that were pushing the storage limit of DVD DL's. Microsoft made a huge mistake and they're gonna be screwed down the line.

x360 did come wiv a hard drive !??? there were 2 packages, core package, jus the system n a cnormal wired controller and premium package, wiv everything.. broadband stuff n hard drive and wireless pad..

Dont you do the same thing? Ps3 ddint show off its gamse since may 16. And they got 170 games + in development. You've just never seen them. You do0nt give gt a chance, ff or any of ps3 a chance. But whatever. By the way resedent evil is goign to be multy console. And i didnt say 360's rpg's are bad. Somehow you imply that yourself. mabey its the image i give to others.

 

Stop right there Kookoo. My desision on the 360 isnt 100% until January when Sony reviel all. Second dont say I havent given FF a chance when I have played FF 7,8 and 9 and thought them as not mught type of game. The answer I gave about giving things a chance wasnt directed at you but it can still apply to you. I cant be asked to quote you on this by looking back but you do suggest to buy the PS3 if you like RPG's. This is the type of thing I am talking about. You havent seen the RPG's on 360 and even if you have you havent played them so its wrong to suggest such a thing. Its like me saying buy a 360 for FPS but I havent seen what the PS3 has to offer on FPS.

Also, of course I know Resident Evil 5 is coming to PS3 as well but what I was saying is have you seen Lost Planet?

 

i believe the exclusion of hddvd was the worst thing m$ has done in this whole fight. game
dev's wont make so many games for them in a year or two when the size of gaming become
even more immense.

 

hmm, i've been gone all day and alot has been said.. does zelda talk about anything other
than biasim? i mean, you may say i'm biased and it may seem so, but i know the ps3 to be
better by some. i post "bias" info, so you say, to stir an argument and show the oppisite side
of your spectrum to show you what may be true. i'm negative toward it to show you a deep
thought way of the other side so maybe you'll examine. dont be like a left winger republican,
only beieving what is said by the higher-ups and living yuor day on that. please just wait
untill all is said and both system are out untill accusing people of such things you keep
