ps3 at wall marts

wall mart is open 24 hours a day. so what time will they release the ps3s. i live only a short distance away from one. so i will try to get one of these babys

 

Don't you mean the PS3. I think that it is at midnight the 16th. I think, don't hold me to that now.

 

Actually the ps2s are already out they have been for around 5 years now...


They will release the ps3s exactly on the 17th so probably midnight. Also keep in mind soem wal-marts are not opened 24/7 but some are...

 

do u think you'll be able to get a PS3 at walmart without waiting in line.. but going at like 1130 or 12?

 

I doubt it probably not they will have like in-door lines or something like that....

Wel it depends on how badly people want it but it can go for around $1000-$2000

 

I really doubt anyone will be at Walmart. I talked to someone there and they stated that even though they open 24/7, they probably will not have a line,and even if they do, ther are only getting something like 4-5 consoles. Also, remember that Walmart had its preorder earlier this month.
I will be at best buy or something like this, since they are getting the most consoles.

 

Depending on where your Walmart is, Walmarts in big citys are going to get like 15 to 20 PS3s. Walmarts in smaller citys are getting like 4 to 5 PS3s. I live in a small town and my Walmart isn't even getting any PS3s. But a Walmart about 30 miles away is getting 10 PS3s. I don't think those 10 will last 10 min. Becouse the Best Buy across the road from Walmart said there only getting about 10. They may get more. Just going to have to wate and see.

 

When the 360 came out there was a guy waiting in line from 8pm 2 days before launch so thats like someone going in at 8pm on the 15th for a PS3. There will be people in line. The Walmart next to me got 46 360 half premo and half core, the most for a Walmart in my town the manager said others got around 10 still half and half. I dont remember howmany 360 were released but I would say that there is probably going to be at least 20 at my walmart. And the best buys got 40 360 also so we will see. Just dont go to target they suck for stuff like this.

don't worry about going to target either there are only about 25 stores in the whole country that are getting more then 10. the one in chicago is getting 28 other wise the rest of the stores are getting 4 to 8 of the systems. 2 of the core and x amount of the high end model

From what ive heard and read that at 10:00pm on the 16th they will hand out tickets for people who want to buy a PS3. Then at 12:01am on the 17th they will go on sale. As far as know this applies to the super store (open 24hrs). Oh and 1 ticket per person. They will be doing the same thing on Saturday for the Wii's

 

how does the in-store buy at wal-mart work?

They had an online pre-order... so are those for different units or what?
