BluRay drive was working fine some days back, but suddenly stopped working. It takes in the discs and even eject with no problem, only the XMB Playstation menu doesn't show up the disc icon. wen i start multiman it jst goes screen black..is there any software patch?? i heard noBD / noBT Patch...will it work?? if nt then any idea hw costly will it be to get fixed
you can uninstall multiman and reistall it,,if not could be your CFW,,may have to go back to 3.55 and reinstall the CFW,,
well wat i did was i downgraded to 4.41 from 4.45 but still same..i dont think it is related to logic driver as i can sucessfully update it to any CFW...
sony update modules check for bd drive board nothing more(this is a physical check)... they don't check if it works lol... unless the board is dead/non responsive/not connected... you will get the error during update... besides most if not all cfw today have the bdrom check disabled... try iris manager from here http://store.brewology.com/ahomebrew.php?brewid=158
